Project Challenge

Many facilities operate machinery for which the original technical drawings are no longer available. When a component becomes worn or breaks, there is no documentation from which to manufacture a replacement—and the original supplier often no longer offers the part.

Input data and requirements

The process begins with the physical component itself or a complete assembly. We capture its geometry, determine any dimensions that cannot be measured directly, and work with the customer to clarify which features must be retained and where improvements can be made.

Our solution

Using precision measurement techniques, we convert the physical object into a digital representation. This results in a complete 3D model from which we create technical drawings suitable for manufacturing, inspection, and further design modifications.

The process also includes material analysis. Spectroscopic testing determines the material’s composition and properties, ensuring that the replacement component matches the original not only in shape, but also in the material from which it is made.
